Happy New Year

"We open the book, and its pages are blank. We will put the words on the pages of this book called Opportunity, and its first chapter is called New Year's Day."
~Edith Lovejoy Pierce

As I said last week, we are finishing a historic year and are ready to embark on another. Its a time to reflect on what has been and what is to come and to recharge.

We have both a lot of work and a lot of opportunity ahead, and I am proud of what we accomplished this past year and look forward to the next. Your work touches the lives of every Oregonian every day, and I want to thank you again for the work you do and for the professionalism you have exhibited throughout the year.

To everyone, I wish a very happy New Year and best wishes to you and your loved ones.
