Many thanks to you

"As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them."
~ John Fitzgerald Kennedy

As the short days and long nights of the winter season descend, it is fitting that we pause for gratitude during Thanksgiving.

I, for one, am extremely thankful to be working with everyone at the Oregon Health Authority toward the mission of better health, better care and lower costs for the people who live in our state. This happens in every part of our agency in a variety of ways through the dedication and focus of our staff. It is often very hard work—long hours and high stress. For those of you who are toiling so intently to help make this state a better place even in the face of great challenges, please know that you have my gratitude and that of your co-workers and your leadership team.

So please have a safe and happy holiday weekend and a well-deserved rest.

Happy Thanksgiving.

With abundant gratitude and thanks,

Bruce
